About this lot

Most folks familiar with Kenyan coffees have a passing familiarity with "SL" varieties– SL 28 and SL 34 especially. Incredibly commonplace across Kenya after British Colonial research center Scott Agricultural Laboratories identified, studied, and distributed these varieties nearly a century ago. Now, another variety likely familiar to the avid Kenya drinker is Ruirui 11, an F1 variety bred for increased yield and disease resistance. This lot is a blend of SL28, SL34, Ruirui 11 and Batian grown by 1062 smallholders delivering to the Gicherori Factory / Kibugu Farmer's Coop.
