That’s how the San José de La Majada cooperative was formed, which today – after nearly 60 years of experience – stands as an absolute quality leader in the Sonsonate region. Their secret lies in volcanic soil, shade-grown cultivation, and a focus on specific varieties such as Bourbon and Pacas. Today, it is a tight-knit group of over 400 producers who combine long-standing traditions with modern technology.
