In Worka Chelbesa, the largest coffee growing area in Gedeb, SNAP operates two washing stations -- Chelbesa and Danche. Combined they process the coffee of around one thousand smallholders. Danche primarily services higher altitude growers whose plots are at such great altitude that harvest is late relative to other growers in the region, giving the coffee extra complexity.
