STILL UNPLUGGED There is no electricity on this farm, but there is plenty of energy – this coffee is proof! The producer of this coffee is Mauricio Rosales. His farm is in a region that is famous for espresso coffees, but Mauricio works wonders in processing that the coffee takes on flavor notes of dried fruit and almonds. In 1997, Mauricio and his father Guillermo bought a small piece of land and are still investing in it. After the purchase, it was a bumpy road to the farm, which was difficult to transport coffee, because Finca La Maravilla is located in the high mountains of the Huehuetenango region.
