About this lot

Grown by the lake! Located in the Rutsiro District of western Rwanda, the Bugoyi washing station sits at an altitude of 1,550 meters above sea level. Situated about 192 km from Kigali, it processes coffee cherries from surrounding farms located between 1,500 and 1,900 meters. The high altitude, mineral-rich volcanic soil, and roughly 1,356 mm of annual rainfall create ideal growing conditions. In 2026, Baho Coffee continued to fully leverage the station’s exceptional location on the shores of Lake Kivu. Gentle lake breezes and soft sunlight allow the coffee to dry slowly and evenly, yielding a remarkably clean, full-bodied, and intense flavor in the cup.
