It was supposed to be sunshine in May. But it’s Kenya. So let’s give it up for May bringing us Kenya! May was meant to be perfect. Faster, stronger, juicier—peak running season in full swing. I really wanted that for myself! And to make it happen, I was counting on solar power (and then it snowed, of course) and fresh Kenyas—which turned out exactly as I imagined and totally saved the day! Juicy, full of flavor—and, in their own way, sunny. Kenya is the homeland of marathoners and my platonic coffee love. I haven’t been there yet, but I really want to. Thankfully, I get to sip this elixir before every run. Kiruru Coffee Factory has been around since 1952—they know coffee like the back of their hand.
