Before their life as coffee growers, Luis and his wife Vanessa were both working as dentists. They built Aurum Coffee to share remarkable coffees and tell the story of their land and local farmers. Five minutes from Vilcabamba, Aurum sits among nitrogen-rich soils, diverse native shade trees, and mineral-rich mountain water flowing from Podocarpus National Park; cool nights and mild days slow cherry maturation.
