With love and respect It all began in 1966, when a group of smallholder farmers from El Salvador decided they could achieve more together. That’s how the San José de La Majada cooperative was formed, which today—after nearly 60 years of experience—stands as an absolute quality leader in the Sonsonate region. Their secret lies in volcanic soil, shade-grown cultivation, and a focus on specific varieties such as Bourbon and Pacas. Today, it is a tight-knit group of over 400 producers who combine long-standing traditions with modern technology. Their mission is simple: to deliver high-quality coffee to the world while caring for the local community and the environment.
