Johel Monge Naranjo

Johel Monge Naranjo is a Costa Rican specialty coffee producer who established Hacienda San Isidro Labrador during the 2014–2015 harvest season in Dota, Tarrazú, at approximately 1,950 masl. He runs the farm as a family operation alongside his son Matías, cultivating Catuaí, Typica, and Geisha in an on-farm micro-mill setup for full quality control. The estate has won the Costa Rica Cup of Excellence three times (2017, 2019, and 2023) and has consistently placed in the top three, with the El Cedro lot taking first place in 2023.
