Julio Madrid has cultivated and processed coffee since 2013 alongside business partner Julio Andrés Quiceno, across three farms (Buenos Aires, Milan, and La Riviera) in Santa Rosa de Cabal, Risaralda, Colombia. Known for ecologically-minded growing (shade trees) and experimental post-harvest fermentation, including fruit-inoculated anaerobic processing. Varietals grown include SL28, Sudan Rume, Moka, Pink Bourbon and Java.
