Sodu Washing Station is located near the town of Hara Adama in Guji Zone, Oromia, Ethiopia, processing cherries from local smallholder farmers — most of whom farm less than half a hectare — who deliver ripe cherry by weight daily. The station produces washed coffees using overnight fermentation and raised-bed drying over 8–15 days, working with mixed heirloom varieties at high elevations in Guji's renowned coffee-growing district. Lots from Sodu are exported under the Wolichu Sodu name to specialty roasters internationally.
