About

Big Island Coffee Roasters is Hawaii's most awarded craft coffee roaster, founded in 2013 by Kelleigh Stewart and Brandon von Damitz on their farm in the Puna district of Hawaii Island. They opened the first coffee mill in East Hawaii in 2014 and work with farmers across the state to offer a wide range of 100% Hawaiian specialty coffees, including Kona, Ka'u, and Puna origins. Roasted to order and shipped direct; also operates a flagship cafe and tasting room in Hilo (opened 2023). Sustainability-focused: powered by renewable energy, with over $9M paid directly to Hawaii farmers.
