About

Green Roast Kaffeerösterei is a small specialty roastery opened in January 2020 in Grünstadt, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany, on the former Didier company grounds along the German Wine Road. It is run by Sascha Kurzidem, a certified coffee sommelier and roasting master, and his wife Heike Kurzidem, an ethnologist and coffee sommelier. The roastery uses a 5kg Probat drum roaster with a slow-roast approach, and operates a small ecological timber café shop open to visitors on select weekday afternoons and Saturdays.
