About

Specialty coffee roaster founded in 2016 by Chris Edden in Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia. Named after Josie, Chris's cousin who was part of Melbourne's early specialty coffee scene before her passing in 2015. Roasts on a US-built Loring S15 using modern, scientific techniques. Operates a coffee bar at the Gateshead roastery (5/5 Metro Court) and a cafe in Mayfield (2/2-16 Hanbury St). Supplies retail and wholesale coffee across Australia with a focus on accessibility and high-quality green coffee.
