About

Leuchtfeuer Coffee (now operating as LF Coffee) is a specialty micro-roastery founded in 2017 by Tanja and Alex in Wedel, near Hamburg, Germany. The roastery focuses exclusively on ethically sourced micro- and nano-lots with SCA scores of 84 or above, tailoring individual roast profiles for each origin. Equipment includes two Loring roasters chosen for energy efficiency and a Stronghold roaster for small-batch competition and Premium Picks work. Roast profiles developed on the smaller Loring can be transferred automatically to the larger production machine for consistency. The roastery champions direct trade and sustainability.
