Specialty coffee roaster based in Edinburgh, Scotland. Machina began as a premium coffee equipment business in 2013 and added in-house roasting in 2017, operating two Probatone drum roasters (12 kg and 25 kg). All coffees score a minimum 84 SCA points and are traceable to farm level; around 60% are sourced direct from origin through long-term partnerships. The range spans single-origin filter and espresso lots, crowd-pleasing blends, and experimental lots. Machina also sells and services commercial espresso equipment as an official La Marzocco partner, and operates a cafe at its Edinburgh roastery.
