About
Hannover-based specialty coffee roastery founded in September 2023, built on an unusual model in which the coffee farmers themselves are majority shareholders. Created by former Ally Coffee director Bram de Hoog alongside producers from Costa Rica, El Salvador, Ethiopia, and Nicaragua, Paso Paso — meaning step by step — aims to close the gap between farm and roastery. Each coffee is sourced directly from the farmer-owners and roasted with a focus on transparency. Winner of the SCA Best Branding Award in Copenhagen.
