About
Public Coffee Roasters is a specialty coffee roastery founded in Hamburg, Germany in 2014 by Argin and Arameh Keshishian. Originally roasting on a houseboat on the Elbe river at Entenwerder, they later moved to a larger shared roasting facility in Rahlstedt (co-producing with Hanseatic Coffee Roasters) with 12 kg, 25 kg and 75 kg Probat drum roasters. They source directly from farms in Ethiopia, Guatemala, Panama and beyond, prioritising fair pay and ethical conditions. Their range includes espresso blends, single-origins, filter coffees, and composable capsules. Two cafes operate in Hamburg.
