About

van Gülpen is a sixth-generation specialty coffee roastery founded in 1832 in Emmerich am Rhein, making it one of the oldest continuously operating family-run roasteries in the world. Currently operated by Lutz Reinhart-van Gülpen, the roastery hand-roasts high-quality microlots in batches of up to 60 kg, with coffees sourced from Ethiopia, Kenya, Colombia, Brazil, Rwanda, and other origins. Fresh-roasted orders are dispatched within 24 hours. The range covers filter, espresso, omni-roast, and decaf offerings, with an emphasis on traceable, sustainably traded green coffees.
