Coffee variety

Kent

A Typica-derived cultivar developed in India in the 1920s by Mr. Kent, notable for being one of the first selections bred for leaf rust resistance. It is now largely replaced by more resistant varieties but still appears in Indian specialty lots, with a mild, soft cup profile.
