Timor Hybrid

The Timor Hybrid (Hibrido de Timor) is a naturally occurring interspecific hybrid of Coffea arabica and Coffea canephora discovered in Timor in the 1920s. It carries full rust resistance inherited from the Robusta parent and is the genetic basis of most rust-resistant Arabica varieties today.
