Organic, fair-trade Arabica from the Marcala region in southern Honduras, grown at 1500 m on volcanic soils (SHB). Washed process: hand-picked cherries are pulped, fermented in water tanks, washed and dried. Roasted to bring out the chocolatey note rather than acidity. Full, spicy body makes it a favourite used in espresso blends as well as filter and stovetop brewing.
