About

Independent specialty coffee roaster founded in 2022 by Adrien and Alexandra Scheffer, two former Paris pharmacists. Originally launched as Comēte Coffee Roasters in Lisbon, they relocated to Matosinhos (near Porto) and rebranded as Interpret Coffee Roasters. Their approach centres on a focused, evolving selection of high-quality single-origin coffees — chosen for contrast and expressiveness in the cup — roasted on a light-to-medium profile. They ship across the EU.
