VAN DYCK Rösterei is a Cologne specialty coffee roaster founded in summer 2010 on Körnerstraße in the Ehrenfeld district. The roastery sources exclusively BIO-certified, fair-trade Arabica and Robusta lots and uses slow drum roasting at low temperatures to develop aroma without bitterness. In 2016 the roasting operation moved to a larger Probat drum roaster in Cologne-Mülheim, where a café bistro and roastery tours are open to the public. Their range includes around 15 roasts across espresso, filter, and omni profiles, and they won Espresso of the Year 2025. All products carry the DE-ÖKO-006 organic certification.
